WORK & TRAVEL USA PROGRAM FEES
US JIM offers two options for the Work & Travel USA program:
- Premium Placement – US JIM / Intrax assists the student in finding a job.
- Independent Placement – the student finds a job independently.
Premium Placement
The total program fee for the Premium Placement option is $1,960 USD.
- First installment: 400 KM, paid when registering for the program.
- Second installment: $300 USD, paid after your online profile has been created in the Intrax system.
- Third installment: $1,450 USD, paid before your visa interview.
Independent Placement
The total program fee for the Independent Placement option is $1,820 USD.
- First installment: 400 KM, paid when registering for the program.
- Second installment: $300 USD, paid after your online profile has been created in the Intrax system.
- Third installment: $1,330 USD, paid before your visa interview.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM FEE?
US JIM provides students with a range of services and support necessary for a successful Work & Travel USA experience. The program fee includes:
- Health insurance for the duration of your DS-2019 program dates
- Job fair opportunities (Premium Placement only)
- DS-2019 form required for the J-1 visa
- Assistance from a local Intrax Work & Travel representative in the USA
- Support and assistance from Intrax Work & Travel San Francisco throughout the program
- English language interview and assessment
- Program rules and terms & conditions provided electronically
- Pre-departure orientation held in Mostar, ensuring that students leave for the USA with all the necessary information and documentation
- Assistance with the preparation and review of documents required for the U.S. visa application
- SEVIS fee
There are no hidden or additional program fees beyond the costs listed above.
ADDITIONAL COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM FEE
US JIM does not require students to purchase their airline ticket through us. The following costs are not included in the program fee:
- U.S. visa application fee – paid to the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo; currently $185 USD
- Passport delivery fee after the visa is issued
- Round-trip airfare
- Accommodation, food, and personal expenses in the USA
- Additional job registration fee, if applicable
